I really need to do something about my picture files. They are crowded and confusing.This is Miss Havisham from"Great Expectations", a book I read for English in high school. Dickens annoyed me, but I don't remember why. I just remember that you're not supposed to say that you don't like Dickens.
My favorite Victorian author was Arthur Conan Doyle. Both authors works started as serialized in magazines. Sherlock Holmes was more vivid to me than any Dickens character. I will make a statue of him sometime. I doubt if there is a copyright.
