Ides of March
I made a platypus in boots fifteen years ago out of terra cotta. I gave it away when I left Orlando and just remembered it recently. Here is another one.
It's 60 degrees, the sky is blue and the birds are singing. The giant glacier in the middle of our cul-de-sac is almost melted. Every year this lulls me into thinking that we are in Spring. Every year we have more cold and snow. This year I won'tbe fooled.
